Rat-Man 299 – La parodia di 300 per imparare ad amare il ratto!
Lungi da me l'idea di rubare il mestiere ai professionisti, ma visto che Rat-Man di Leo Ortolani è l'unico fumetto che leggo regolarmente, mi piacerebbe segnalarvi l'albo uscito proprio ieri.
E' Rat-Man collection n°62, intitolato 299.
Come si intuisce dalla copertina è una divertentissima parodia della graphic novel "300" di Frank Miller che narra la battaglia di Re Leonida e dei suoi spartani contro Serse e i persiani, alle Termopili.
Non ho mai letto l'originale, il recente film non mi ha entusiasmato più di tanto e considero le parodie la parte meno riuscita del lavoro di Ortolani, che a mio inespertissimo avviso offre il meglio di se con le produzioni originali, o al massimo ispirate a qualcosa di esistente.
Tuttavia essendo Leo un genio, questo volumetto in vendita a 2.50 € (la storia si conclude nel prossimo numero) è molto, ma molto divertente.
In questi ultimi mesi le uscite in edicola di Rat-Man, inediti o ristampe che siano, sono intrise da una forte continuity e quindi difficili da seguire per il lettore che non si è mai avventurato prima per le vie della Città Senza Nome.
Quindi ritengo il volume, chiaramente scollegato dal filone principale delle vicende del nostro eroe, il punto perfetto per entrare in contatto con questo grande artista nostrano che nulla ha da invidiare ai mostri sacri del fumetto statunitense (se mai è vero il contrario).
Investite questi due euri e mezzo, non ve ne pentirete.

Grande Carlo! Grazie per l’esperto, anche se non mi ritengo tale, piuttosto mi definirei appassionato. Sono contento che si parli del Ratto, ed effettivamente hai ragione, è un ottimo numero per iniziare. Letto questo sarà difficile restire alla necessità di acquistare i precedenti, gli speciali, ecc…

Niente da dire, il più bell’omaggio al capolavoro di Frank Miller lo ha realizzato Leo con questo divertentissimo numero di Ratman! Aspetto con ansia la seconda parte! Mi chiedo solamente se questa volta Ortolani non abbia rischiato grosso con battute che prestano il fianco all’attacco dei bigotti. Chi ha letto il fumetto ed ha riso come me per buoni 10 minuti, oltre che per il resto del giorno in maniera random, sa di quale battuta sto parlando.

Non ho notato nulla di particolarmente sopra alle righe in “299″. A quali battute ti riferisci (magari per non rovinarle agli alti indica solo la pagina!)
Mi sembra che Leo non si preoccupi particolarmente di cosa pensano i bigotti, altrimenti Cinzia l’avrebbe creata… muta

Probabilmente una delle battute/vignette più divertenti che abbia letto! 
(“censura” pure se è troppo esplicito come spoiler)
Il senso dell’ironia del Leo ed il suo essere non politicamente corretto sono i principali motivi della mia adorazione per la sua opera!Il ‘problema’ sono i bigotti(leggi ad esempio MOIGE) che difettano ‘leggermente’ di ironia. Comunque sono parole al vento figurati se sanno dell’esistenza del RATMAN!

Purtroppo ho iniziato a leggere ratman nel 2008 e solo adesso è uscita la ristampa con tutto rat-man, non vedo l’ora che esca la ristampa successiva per vedere come conclude la storia. PS: avendo letto l’opera di Miller (resa bene nel film, ma in toni diciamo più “epici” e “positivi” a mio parere)le pagine di ortolani sono ancora più apprezzate!
PPS: quasi quasi mi per non aspettare mi prendo la nuova edizione in widescreen e a colori (che mi pare sia stata colorata dal fratello di ortolani) per non aspettare dicembre per il prossimo numero di tutto ratman XP XP XP XP
